【摘要】:Thistestmethodgivestherubbertechnologisttwomeanstoevaluatetheeffectofliquidsonrubbervulcanizatesorrubberymaterials.Volatile,nonvolatile,andotherliquidsthatrequirepressuretomaintainaliquidstatemaybeused.Dataobtainedonrubberymaterialsexposedtoliquidsbythismethodmaybeusedtopredicttheirbehaviorinapplicationsinvolvingsimilarexposure.Thesechangesinlengthhavebeenfoundtobeusefulforspecificationsbutdonotnecessarilyindicatechangesfordesignpurposes.1.1Thistestmethodcoversatechniquetomeasuretheeffectofimmersionliquidsonrubbervulcanizatesorrubberymaterials.Changeinspecimengeometryanddimensionsareobservedthroughthetransparentwallsofthetubecontainingthespecimenimmersedintheliquid.Althoughitmaybeemployedwithanyliquid,itisespeciallyapplicabletoliquidsthataresovolatilethattheymustbemaintainedunderpressureduringtheperiodofimmersion.1.2ThistestmethoddiffersfromTestMethodD471,inthatvolumechangesareapproximatedfromobserveddimensionalchangesratherthanbeingcalculateddirectly.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Itisessentialforresponseagencypersonneltoplan,develop,implement,andtrainonstandardizedguidelinesthatencompasspolicy,strategy,operations,andtacticaldecisionspriortorespondingtoaradiologicalincident.Useofthisstandardisrecommendedforalllevelsoftheresponsestructure.Documentsdevelopedfromthisstandardpracticeshallbereferencedandrevisedasnecessaryandreviewedonatwo-yearcycle(ataminimum).Thereviewshallconsidernewandupdatedrequirementsandguidance,technologies,andotherinformationorequipmentthatmighthaveasignificantimpactonthemanagementandoutcomeofradiologicalincidents.1.1Thispracticeprovidesdecision-makingconsiderationsforresponsetoincidentsthatinvolveradioactivematerials.Itprovidesinformationandguidanceforwhattoincludeinresponseplanning,andwhatactivitiestoconductduringaresponse.ThescopeofthisstandarddoesnotexplicitlyconsiderresponsetoINDsornuclearpowerplantaccidents.Itdoesnotexpresslyaddressemergencyresponsetocontaminationoffoodorwatersupplies.1.2Thispracticeappliestothoseemergencyresponseagenciesthathavearoleintheresponsetoaradiologicalincident,excludinganINDincident.Itshouldbeusedinemergencyservicesresponsesuchaslawenforcement,firedepartment,andemergencymedicalresponseactions.1.3Thispracticeassumesthatimplementationbeginswiththerecognitionofaradiologicalincidentandendswhenemergencyresponseactionsceaseortheresponseisassumedbyspecializedregional,state,orfederalresponseteams.1.4AHJsusingthispracticewillidentifyhazards,developaplan,acquireandtrackequipment,andprovidetrainingconsistentwiththedescriptionsprovidedinSection6.AHJsnotabletomeettherequirementsshouldrefertotheUnitedStates(US)DepartmentofTransportation(DOT)EmergencyResponseGuidebook(ERG)forguidanceonhowtomanageradiologicalincidents(DOT,currentversion).ThisstandardprovidesadditionalguidanceandisnotintendedtoreplacetheERG,rathertosupplementit(seeAnnexA1).1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
