【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftraceamounts(lessthan0.05volume%)ofsedimentinlubricatingoils.Sinceoil-solublematerialprecipitatedbythespecifiedsolventisnotintendedaspartofthemeasuredsediment,thetestmethodisnotapplicableincaseswhereprecipitatedoil-solublecomponentswillappreciablycontributetothesedimentreadings.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
