【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesperformancerequirementsandtestmethodsforthiefresistantmechanicallyoperatedsingle-pointlockassemblies(includinglockingplates,fixingscrews,fittinginstructionsandcylinderswhereappropriate)that:a)incorporatelocksconformingtoBSEN12209fieldofdoorapplicationgradesA,B,C,D,E,FandJ,i.e.locksthatcanalwaysbeunlockedfromtheinsidewithoutakeytherebyonlyallowingkeylessegress;andb)areusedindoors,windowdoorsandentrancedoorsinbuildings.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverthiefresistantlockassembliesthatonlyallowegressusingaremovablekey.NOTE1Thiefresistantlockassembliesthatonlyallowegressusingakeyarespecifiedinaseparatestandard,BS3621,becausetheyaresufficientlydifferentintermsofwhattheyofferformeansofescape(fromfire)andsecurity.NOTE2Itispossiblethatlockassembliesconformingtothisstandardarenotsuitableforuseondoorsconstructedfromcertaintypesofmaterial,e.g.plasticoraluminium.Themarkingonthepackagingofthelockassemblywillprovidethisinformationinaccordancewith7.2.NOTE3AlockorlatchassemblyconformingtothisstandardcanbeincludedaspartofanexitdevicethatconformstoBSEN179orBSEN1125.
