【摘要】:Thisstandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricalappliancesforhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,theratedvoltageoftheappliancesbeingnotmorethan250Vforsingle-phaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances.Appliancesmayincorporatemotors,heatingelementsortheircombination.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholdusebutwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedtobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.NOTE1-Examplesofsuchappliancesarecateringequipment,cleaningappliancesforindustrialandcommercialuse,andappliancesforhairdressers.Sofarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyapplianceswhichareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,thisstandarddoesnotingeneraltakeintoaccount-theuseofappliancesbyyoungchildrenorinfirmpersonswithoutsupervision;-playingwiththeappliancebyyoungchildren.NOTES2Attentionisdrawntothefactthat-forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;-forappliancesintendedtobeusedintropicalcountries,specialrequirementsmaybenecessary;-inmanycountriesadditionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoflabour,thenationalwatersupplyauthoritiesandsimilarauthorities.3Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto-appliancesintendedexclusivelyforindustrialpurposes;-appliancesintendedtobeusedinlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasthepresenceofacorrosiveorexplosiveatmosphere(dust,vapourorgas);-radioandtelevisionreceivers,recordplayersandsimilarequipment(IEC65);-appliancesformedicalpurposes(IEC601);-hand-heldmotor-operatedelectrictools(IEC745);-personalcomputersandsimilarequipmentI(IEC950)-transportablemotor-operatedelectrictools(IEC1029).

【摘要】:Theoilinatwo-stroke-cyclegasolineengineiseithermixedwiththefuelpriortouseorismeteredintothefuelsupplyat,oratsomepointpriorto,itspassageintotheenginecrankcase.Thepossibilityoftheamountofoilactuallypresentintheenginebeinglessthanoptimumalwaysexists.Also,withsomeoilmeteringsystemsshortperiodsofoperationwithlessoilthandesirablecanoccurwhenthepowerisincreasedsuddenly.Ithasalsobeenfoundthattheincidenceofpistonscuffearlyinthelifeoftheenginemayberelatedtothelubricityoftheoilusedasdefinedbytestproceduresofthistype.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatestheabilityoflubricantstominimizepistonandborescuffingintwo-stroke-cyclespark-ignitiongasolineengines.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
